Loads of Laundry

Hello there!

So, my husband and I recently moved to Detroit (I’m a native, he’s a suburbanite, but that is a joke for another day).  The exciting part is that we are no longer apartment dwellers.  That’s right folks, we have a house, and one of the best-read B.E.S.T <3- things about this development is that we no longer have to use quarters to do laundry.  Now some of you may be thinking that this is not that big of a deal.  Trust me, it is.  With a little free time to fill, my obsession with numbers, and my trusty calculator, I discovered that on average, we were spending about $150/yr on coin machines.  With that kind of mu-lah, I could buy:

Yep. It’s true.

I mean, seriously, what a waste.  I love all of the things above and I could have enjoyed them were it not for that stinkin’ apartment complex (which shall remain unnamed) and their coin washer and dryer!  Who gave them the right?!  Although, I must admit the rent was quite reasonable..Annny-who, that’s all I’ve got, so until next time, enjoy life. 🙂

P.S. The shoes can be found at DSW and you can buy the Chocolate from Sanders Fine Chocolatiers.  Also, the picture of laundry was taken in my new, amazing walk in closet, my side is featured (more pics of that delicious space is sure to follow). 😉
